set manoeuvres freestyle
Set manoeuvres round wrapped in a freestyle flight
- Pilots will fly their choice of 4 set manoeuvres (from the published list)
- Flights should be between 2.5 and 3.5 minutes in total
- Each set maneuver within the flight can be awarded a maximum of 35 points (based on flying K3.5 manoeuvres)
- The overall flight appearance will be awarded points out of 50
- Each set maneuver will be called before it is started, along with the start and end points of the maneuver
- Total maximum points for the round is 190
Round 1 will be judged on the following criteria:
- Accurate execution of the maneuver
- Height (includes overall height of maneuver and height consistency throughout it)
- Entry and Exit
- Position and Symmetry
The Freestyle element of the set manoeuvres flight will be judged on the following criteria:
- Overall appearance (includes structure, flow, positioning, usage of flying area)
- Transitions between manoeuvres
- Variety (not repeating manoeuvres or transitions too often)
The Freestyle flight should be timed to be as close to the set time limit as possible
